Aston Villa remain confident over a move for Pepe Reina this month despite a delay to proceedings for the AC Milan goalkeeper. Villa are without first-choice shot-stopper Tom Heaton for the rest of the season after the Englishman sustained knee ligament damage last week. The Villains identified former Liverpool goalkeeper Reina as a temporary replacement but have failed to follow through with the move. According to the Daily Mirror, AC Milan have delayed the move because they first want to find a replacement for Reina before letting him go. Milan fear they could also lose the highly-rated Donnarumma, who has been courted by Real Madrid, in the next year.
