At least three persons are killed and 42 others are wounded after they were hit by debris from an exploding water tank in San Jose del Monte, Bulacan. Involved in the blast was a 42-foot-tall (13 meter high) water tank located Barangay Muzon. The structure is being maintained by the San Jose Del Monte Water District. San Jose del Monte Police Chief Fitz Macariola says, an investigation is ongoing to determine if water pressure was the cause of the explosion. Local water district officials claim the tank is regularly subjected to inspection.
