It wasn’t clear to whom the U.S. president was referring since Iran still has the same president. Israel and the United States have alleged in recent years that Iran was experimenting with using fentanyl in chemical weapons. In Iran, authorities say more than 1,900 people have been killed, while 19 have been reported dead in Israel.
