London, 21 May 2021:The Attorney General’s Media Office reported that the Attorney General, Sideeg Al-Sour, met on Wednesday with both the Minister of Interior and the Head of the Internal Security Agency in charge of coordination and unification of efforts to find solutions to some issues related to the facts of the investigations in the Office of the Attorney General. BackgroundIt will be recalled that Attorney General Al-Sour was appointed as full-time Attorney General only on 20 April this year – having held the post as Acting Attorney General since his controversial appointment by the parliament of the time, the General National Congress (GNC), in June 2014.
