Salah Suleiman Gemblat, Minister of State for Military Production, held talks with Karim Farag, Executive Vice President of SC Johnson for the Asia and Australia region, to explore areas of mutual interest and potential joint cooperation. He said deepening local manufacturing, particularly through the integration of artificial intelligence applications, is a key priority for the Ministry of Military Production in the coming period. The minister also highlighted efforts to leverage surplus production capacities at companies affiliated with the ministry to manufacture high-quality civilian products at competitive prices. For his part, Farag praised the Ministry of Military Production as a cornerstone of Egypt’s defence manufacturing sector and one of the country’s most significant industrial arms. He added that these strengths lay the groundwork for a promising partnership between the two sides across a range of manufacturing fields.
