Auckland culture magazine Paperboy ceases publicationPAPERBOY Paperboy has closed its doors, affecting a dozen staff. The 12 staff from Auckland magazine Paperboy were told on Tuesday their magazine had been discontinued, Bauer Media's New Zealand boss says. The magazine was launched in November 2016 as a free weekly publication, reporting on Auckland transport, housing, design and culture. Its final edition was delivered to apartments and magazine stands in central Auckland and at train stations on December 21. Each week 100,000 copies of Paperboy were printed and distributed to apartments and magazine stands for free in the Auckland region.
