They walked out of Kashimpur Central Jail 2 after their bail order reached the prison around 3pm, said Senior Jail Super Subrata Kumar Bala. On Monday, the High Court granted six-month bail to the two former IGPs and stayed the Tk50,000 fines against each of them. Also Read- Aug 21 grenade attack case: 2 former IGPs get bailEarlier on January 13, the High Court accepted the appeals of 44 convicts, including 18 sentenced to death, for hearing in the August 21 grenade attack cases. Among them, former IGPs Ashraful Huda and Shahudul Haque were sentenced to four years in jail and fined Tk50,000 for harbouring the offenders.
