Australian loses P7,000 at NAIAMANILA, Philippines — An Australian bound for Cebu complained to police that her P7,000 was stolen from her shoulder bag during table inspection at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 3 on Good Friday. The tourist told investigators she discovered the loss after finding she no longer had money to buy a bottle of water near the boarding gate, shortly after the inspection. The stolen money was returned to the Australian, who decided not to press charges against the erring staff as she rushed to board her flight. OTS Administrator Gilberto Cruz said the organization is committed to uphold the highest standards of integrity, while ensuring the safety and security of all passengers. Those found responsible will face appropriate consequences, both criminal and administrative punishments, if warranted,” Cruz said.
