The forum, which held at Festac, Lagos on November 22, brought together many industry players in Nigeria and several other foreign firms. It also featured highlights of the next edition of Automechanika Dubai trade fair fixed for May 1-3, 2018, a statement by the organisers, Messe Frankfurt, said. It stated that the last edition of Automechanika Dubai featured 1,955 exhibitors from 57 countries and welcomed more than 30, 322 trade visitors from 136 countries. According to the representative of Messe Frankfurt in Nigeria, Omonigho Itoya-Abanokwu, the fair holding in Dubai next year as well as the Lagos roadshow would open business opportunities for the sector in Nigeria.
