A total of 284 individuals, organized into 28 teams, have secured permission to undertake mountain expeditions this autumn season. Remarkably, climbers representing 44 different countries have obtained permits to tackle various peaks, with permits being granted for a total of six mountains. The Department reports that 266 climbers, distributed among 23 teams, have been granted permission to ascend Mount Manaslu this year. Japan has 15 climbers granted permission, including four women, and France has 15 climbers, including two women. Nepal, the home of these majestic peaks, has three climbers who have received permits for this season.
