A 53-year-old policeman who was declared absent without official leave (Awol) since 2015 was shot dead in Quezon City on Saturday past noon. Guillermo Eleazar, Quezon City Police District (QCPD) director, identified the victim as PO1 Alfredo Tindoc, who was assigned at the QCPD police community precinct 6. Tindoc, a native of Zamboanga City, was shot at the back of his house located along Dollar corner Atherton St. in Brgy. Eleazar said Tindoc went Awol since Sept. 29, 2015, and had reportedly been involved in various illegal drugs activities. Based on accounts from Tindoc’s neighbors, officers from police station 5 told Eleazar that the house was being used as a drug den.
