Glenn Alcock--Flackwell Heath boss Chris Ayres admitted his backroom team and players struggled to keep a lid on their emotions after Abdel El Jalaloui scored a 96th minute winner against Burnham on Saturday. Ayres admitted afterwards it was difficult for his players to contain their emotions after what looked like being a frustrating second half. We gave away two sloppy goals, but I also thought we should have been three or four goals up at half-time. It’s so difficult to control emotions when you score a goal like that, but we managed to get the players back. “We’ve missed Marcus (Mealing) and Jethro (Odumosu), we’ve had to find a way to win without those two,” added Ayres.
