Azimio leaders on Wednesday thronged the Ethics and Anti-Corruption headquarters at Integrity Centre in solidarity with former Kakamega Governor Wycliffe Oparanya. The team was led by Wiper leader Martha Karua, Jubilee Secretary General Jeremiah Kioni and minority leader Opiyo Wandayi. Oparanya was on Wednesday questioned at the EACC offices over alleged financial management during his tenure. Karua said she was denied access to the EACC Director's office where Oparanya was being held even after he identified her as part of his defence counsel. Karua said other lawyers who were denied access even after Oparanya called them included Danstan Omari, Edwin Sifuna, MP Babu Owino and Minority leader Opiyo Wandayi.
