The triumph coupled with China's 5-0 drubbing of Maldives early on Tuesday secured for the Azkals a berth in the third round of the qualifiers for the Asian Cup. Hartmann's goal encapsulated the Philippines' domination of Guam as the Azkals battered the latter's defense for the most of the match. And just before halftime, Bias set Mike Ott up, but the latter's shot merely hit the woodwork, missing the goal entirely. The Azkals wraps up its second-round schedule by facing Maldives at the same venue on June 15.
