However, he emphasized that no specific date or time has yet been finalizedfor the start of this withdrawal facility. The clarification was prompted by recent reports on social media and certainnews platforms claiming that depositors of one of the merging banks couldbegin withdrawing money from Monday. The Bangladesh Bank has officially stated that this information is incorrectand baseless. The central bank urged all stakeholders and the general public not to bemisled by such false information.
