Bangladesh Bank has transferred five officials to different departments, according to a directive issued by the central bank's Human Resources Department-1 yesterday (24 February). Among those transferred is Md Bayazid Sarker, director of the Banking Regulation and Policy Department-1, who has been assigned as acting executive director (Currency) at the Motijheel office. Md Jabdul Islam, currently working at Human Resources Department-1, has been transferred to the Financial Institutions Inspection Department. Md Shahid Reza, who is working in the Financial Institutions Department, has been transferred to Human Resources Department-1. Meanwhile, Md Kamrul Islam, who has been serving as an additional director at the Governor's Office, has been transferred to the Sadarghat office.
