While the BBC panel's segue to Palace was made with a tongue in cheek, Sunderland fans and other viewers were not laughing. The Beeb are yet to publicly comment on these complaints, but Shearer has offered a more detailed perspective on the broadcast decisions which were made. they did offer me the opportunity to go with the BBC iPlayer and put some analysis on it.
