The BBC have been forced to delete a post about Wayne Rooney after Gary Lineker kicked up a fuss. Birmingham announced the sacking of Rooney after just 15 matches on Tuesday morning. Wayne Rooney was sacked by Birmingham on Tuesday PA But the BBC's reaction to the news on social media did not go down well. The post read: "By order of the Peaky Blinders, Wayne Rooney has been sacked by Birmingham City." The BBC seemed to listen to their long-serving presenter as the post swiftly disappeared.
