Sir David Attenborough will be back on screens in 2021 at the age of 95 — and he may need his thermals. The BBC has unwittingly revealed details of its next natural history mega-series by posting a job advert for a producer with experience of ice diving. The “new and ambitious” project from the corporation’s celebrated Natural History Unit will reveal “the wonder and majesty of the frozen third of our planet”, according to the advert. It is being produced by the team behind last year’s Blue Planet II, which broke ratings records and became a global television phenomenon.
