The coverage also saw 44m hours streamed on BBC iPlayer, the BBC website and app and 23m on TV. And the 83m streams are a massive increase on the 31.4m total viewers from the last Winter Olympics in Beijing in 2022. BBC director of sport Alex Kay-Jelski said the corporation had “delivered an outstanding Games” and “engaged audiences more than ever”.
