The Business Development Services (BDS) Hubs, operating under the Central Bank of Egypt’s NilePreneurs initiative, have delivered more than 1.16 million non-financial and advisory services to date. Between 2020 and 2025, the BDS Hubs recorded significant expansion in both services delivered and beneficiaries reached, achieving an average annual growth rate of 135% in services provided and 125% in clients served. The initiative encourages banks to broaden the provision of non-financial and advisory services, while also promoting the integration of informal businesses into the formal economy. The BDS Hubs offer a comprehensive range of free non-financial and advisory services. Entrepreneurs, youth and MSMEs can access these services free of charge by visiting BDS Hubs located in bank branches, youth centres and universities across most governorates.
