Planning Minister MA Mannan gives trophies to RMG accessories manufacturers, yesterday at the concluding ceremony of GAPEXPO 2019, held at ICCB, Dhaka COURTESYFour-day GAPEXPO-2019 concludesBangladesh Garments Accessories & Packaging Manufacturers & Exporters Association (BGAPMEA) awarded 13 companies yesterday for their extraordinary contribution to the local garment industry and exports. Winners under medium enterprises category are: Siam Computerized Elastic Ltd (gold); KDS Poly Industries (silver); and Sans Packaging and Accessories Industries Ltd (bronze). Awards in large enterprise category went to: Montrims Ltd (gold); KDS Accessories Ltd (silver); and Eltafil Accessories Ltd (bronze). Montrims Ltd (gold), Simtex Industries Ltd (silver), and Al-Muslim Accessories were awarded for their excellence in direct exports. BGAPMEA President Md Abdul Kader Khan said the country's garment accessories and packaging industry is now exporting various products after meeting local demand.
