Ending all speculations, veteran BJP leader BS Yediyurappa resigned as Karnataka Chief Minister on Monday (July 26). Yediyurappa said that he has decided to resign and will meet Governor at 4 pm on Monday. Before announcing his resignation, CM Yediyurappa was seen breaking down on the stage. Minutes before Yediyurappa announced his resignation, BJP General Secretary CT Ravi said, "I congratulate BS Yediyurappa Ji for completing 2 years as CM today. He will continue to guide Karnataka and BJP."
