The P2.3 trillion collection target is roughly 13 percent higher than the goal of P2.044 trillion last year. Records showed the bureau did not hit its 2018 collection target by about P82 billion. “We have no collection problem as the BIR garnered 97 percent of its assignment,” the finance chief said recently.
