The Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) has launched its mobile Covid-19 testing unit, which started providing free tests in the capital on Wednesday. Bangkok Governor Aswin Kwanmuang said the mobile virus testing service targets at-risk groups so they do not have to travel to hospitals. On the first day of service, the mobile unit tested six people who were considered at-risk of infection. The mobile Covid-19 testing van is run by four to five healthcare professionals, who spray disinfectant around the vehicle and in surrounding areas. Tests utilise the swab technique.
