Photo : BSSBAGERHAT, Feb 4, 2026 (BSS) - An election rally of the BNP-nominated parliamentary candidate for the Bagerhat-2 constituency were held today. The rally, organized at the Basabati Amtola ground of Bagerhat Municipality, drew a large crowd of BNP supporters. Barrister Sheikh Mohammad Zakir Hossain, the BNP candidate contesting with the sheaf of paddy symbol from the Bagerhat Sadar-1 constituency, attended the rally as the chief guest. Addressing the rally, Barrister Zakir said the BNP believes that "religion belongs to everyone and law belongs to everyone," adding that he would stand beside people of all religions to protect their rights.
