The top-flight league will be held in six venues across the country – Bangabandhu National Stadium in Dhaka, Rafiq Uddin Bhuiyan Stadium, Mymensingh, Sheikh Moni Stadium, Gopalganj, Sheikh Kamal Stadium, Nilphamari, Shaheed Bhulu Stadium, Noakhali and Sylhet District Stadium. Holder Abahani Limited will face off against newcomer Nofel Sporting Club as the BPL Football gets underway Friday at Bangabandhu National Stadium in Dhaka. The top-flight league will be held in six venues across the country – BNS, Rafiq Uddin Bhuiyan Stadium, Mymensingh, Sheikh Moni Stadium, Gopalganj, Sheikh Kamal Stadium, Nilphamari, Shaheed Bhulu Stadium, Noakhali and Sylhet District Stadium. Meanwhile, the upcoming Bangladesh Championship League 2018-19 season will begin on February 5 at Shaheed Sipahi Mohammad Mostafa Kamal Stadium in Kamalapur. The bottom two teams of the BPL will get relegated to the 12-team Championship League, while the champion of the second tier will be promoted to the top-flight.
