After reports floated of Amitabh Bachchan testing negative for COVID-19, the veteran actor denied the news on his Twitter account and called it 'fake'. Taking to his Twitter account Bing B wrote, ".. this news is incorrect , irresponsible , fake and an incorrigible LIE !!" His son Abhishek Bachchan had also tested positive and they were both admitted to Nanavati hospital. Abhishek had tweeted about his diagnosis too and said, "Earlier today both my father and I tested positive for COVID 19. Apart from Amitabh and Abhishek, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Aaradhya Bachchan had also tested positive for COVID-19.
