The entertainment industry has been thrown into mourning as the news of the death of Nigerian music legend, Lanre Fasasi better known as Sound Sultan was broken online. According to reports, the 44-year-old celebrated singer, songwriter, actor and basketball lover died from a hard-fought battle with throat cancer. Sound Sultan was a popular figure in the Nigerian entertainment scene and was one of the most visible veterans of Nigerian hip hop music who are still relevant in the present day. Sound Sultan is survived by a wife and three children.
