According to his lawyer, Victor Kwadjoga Adawudu, Jamal was questioned about claims of vote-buying linked to the NDC’s parliamentary primary held on Saturday, February 7. “If he had known, and as a lawyer, he would have informed people about the legal position,” Adawudu added. After a tense day of questioning, Baba Jamal walked out of the OSP offices, relieved to be free on bail while the investigation continues, promising full cooperation with authorities.
