Babri Masjid Demolition: Lucknow court likely to pronounce verdict in criminal case on Sept 30


A special court in Lucknow will pronounce its verdict by September 30 in the criminal case regarding the demolition of the erstwhile disputed structure of the Babri Masjid in Uttar Pradesh's Ayodhya. The Supreme Court has allowed Special Judge SK Yadav, who is hearing the case, one more month to finish examining the report and complete the trial. The case was first given until 31st August for the process of the trial to be completed. On Friday, the CBI had filed a report in a special court in connection with the demolition of the disputed structure at Ayodhya. Advani, Kalyan Singh, Murli Manohar Joshi, Uma Bharti, Vinay Katiyar, Mahant Nritya Gopal Das, and Sadhvi Rithambhara, have been accused in the criminal case regarding the demolition of the disputed mosque on December 6, 1992.
