The baby was pronounced dead by on-duty doctors at the hospital on Wednesday night, DMCH police outpost Assistant Sub-Inspector Abdul Khan told Dhaka Tribune. The baby, which is actually conjoined twin sisters who share a single body, two arms and two legs, was delivered by Caesarean process at Jahan Private Hospital in Sadar upazila on Tuesday. The baby was referred to Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University to ensure better treatment to save the life of the baby. However, on Tuesday, Palash rushed his wife to Jahan Private Hospital after she complained of stomach pain.
