Students (grades 6-12) are about evenly split on the chances of receiving high-quality learning, at 48 percent confident or very confident. Parents in such schools were the most likely, at 57 percent, to report being “very involved” in their students’ learning last spring. Expectations need to be an explicit conversation in each school and community, with families, students, and teachers at the table.
