At a stage when both the federal and provincial governments were cautiously rebuilding working relations despite sharp political differences, such remarks disrupt momentum. Administrative cooperation is essential for public service delivery in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Repeated confrontation between the KP government and the federation has, in the past, yielded more noise than results. At this stage, what serves both Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Pakistan is steadiness, not spectacle.
