KUALA LUMPUR: The Badminton Association of Malaysia (BAM) may change the line-up for the Asia Team Champion­ships following the fine form of singles shuttlers Leong Jun Hao and Liew Daren. The BAM are still open to changes although they have finalised their squad for the Asian meet in Alor Setar, Kedah, from Feb 6-11. Team manager Datuk Ng Chin Chai said the national coaches had been told to review the current form of players before the Asian team meet starts. “We want the coaches to review the current form of players and decide on who can contribute best for the team. Malaysia, who reached the Thomas Cup final in 2014 and semi-finals in 2016, need a top four finish at the Asian meet to earn an automatic slot in the Finals.
