REUTERS/Kim Kyung-Hoon/File photo(Reuters) -Bain Capital is close to acquiring Guidehouse, a consulting firm that advises government organizations and businesses, in a deal valuing it at $5.3 billion including debt, the Wall Street Journal reported on Sunday. Bain Capital declined to comment when contacted by Reuters, while Guidehouse did not immediately respond to a request for comment. Private equity firm Veritas Capital acquired the U.S. public sector business of accounting firm PricewaterhouseCoopers in 2018 and rebranded it as Guidehouse.
