India is projected to account for 17 percent of the global growth and China a massive 26 percent. American billionaire Elon Musk has reacted after the International Monetary Fund (IMF) placed India among the top contributors to global growth and ahead of the United States. Global growth is expected to be 3.3 percent this year and 3.2 in 2027, according to the IMF. The IMF's growth data highlights what can be considered an eastward shift in global economic power.
