“As we’re seeing sunny days and a decrease in rainfall, mild heatwaves may continue in some districts. The mild heatwave sweeping through Khulna, Jessore, and Chuadanga may expand slightly,” Meteorologist Tariful Newaz Kabir said on Sunday. “At the same time, since it’s the monsoon season, there will be sporadic rainfall in some areas. Meanwhile, the lowest temperature was recorded in Dhaka, Tangail, and Sylhet at 24 degrees Celsius. The highest rainfall during the same period was recorded at 28mm in Tarash, while Dhaka saw 27mm of rainfall.
