The incident took place at about 10:20pm when their motorcycle hit an electric pole after colliding with a herd of cows. Lipis district police Chief Supt Azli Mohd Noor said the victim Md Selim Ali, 28, and his friend Shalam Mohammad, 33, were on their way back to their house at Kem Sungai Relau after work, reports Malaysian news media. The victim suffered serious head injuries as it is learned that he was not wearing a helmet," he told reporters in a statement on Wednesday. Further investigations will be conducted under Section 41 (1) of the Road Transport Act 1987.
