A Bangladeshi woman has been killed in an Israeli airstrike on a residential building in Lebanon’s capital Beirut, the Bangladesh Embassy in the country has said. The victim, identified only as Dipali, died on Wednesday at Hamra in Beirut, where she was staying with her employer’s family, the embassy said. According to preliminary information obtained from a neighbour of the employer, the employer and several other family members were also killed in the same explosion. “Local police sources confirmed that the body is currently being kept at the Rafik Hariri University Hospital morgue in Beirut. The embassy expressed deep grief over the death and extended its heartfelt sympathies to the bereaved family in Bangladesh.
