Imran had asserted in his victory speech that he would not reside at the PM HouseAuthorities in Islamabad finalised security measures around prime minister-in-waiting Imran Khan’s Bani Gala’s residence on Wednesday, reported Express News. The district authorities tightened the security perimeter around the residence and also stationed an ambulance and a fire fighting vehicle at the 300-kanal villa situated on the outskirts of the federal capital. Security measures outlined in the notification include installation of search lights around boundary walls, green curtain around the lawn and parking arrangements for those visiting. While tradition dictates that the prime minister takes up residence at the PM House on Constitution Avenue, Imran had asserted in his victory speech that he would not reside at the officially designated residence. The party’s senior leader Jahangir Tareen has been wooing independents and other parties including Pakistan Muslim League (PML-Q) and Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) to form the government.
