Crowds were seen in major cities including Leeds, Newcastle and Liverpool, as groups of friends posed for pictures on their night out. Revellers also flooded to Manchester city centreRevellers hit pubs and bars last night to enjoy the Bank Holiday weekend. Friends and families gathered amid a relaxation of coronavirus lockdown rules which now allow people to eat and drink indoors. The Bank Holiday weekend is the first time Brits get a few days off while more freedoms are allowed. Previous holiday periods, including Easter and the Early May Bank Holiday, fell while pubs and bars were not allowed to welcome customers indoors.
