Rashford joined Barcelona on loan from United last summer and has impressed this season with 10 goals and 13 assists in 38 appearances so far. Barcelona have the option to sign the 28-year-old for €30 million (£26.3m) this summer as part of their loan agreement with United. However, the Daily Mail reports that Barcelona will ask United if they can extend Rashford’s loan for another year to run until the summer of 2027. The report adds that Barcelona would include an obligatory buy clause worth £26m, which they will be forced to pay next year.
