Bathgate Park School pupils farewell departing principal Whetu Cormick at a special assembly yesterday. Tributes and the odd tear flowed as the school community said goodbye to Mr Cormick, who has been in the role since the school was formed in 2012, after the merger of Forbury School and Macandrew Intermediate. He now plans to work in the education sector, at the national level.
