Bayern Munich players celebrated their eighth consecutive Bundesliga title after a 1-0 victory against Werder Bremen on Tuesday night. The players wore t-shirts with the number '8' brandished across the front alongside the club badge, as the German topflight became the first league be to settled post-coronavirus lockdown. Robert Lewandowski scored the only goal of the match to see Hansi Flick win his first Bundesliga title since taking over as manager of Bayern earlier in the season. Their league triumph marked the 30th in their clubs history - the most of any German club in the history of the competition. Bayern Munich controlled much of the match and were rewarded for their dominance in the 41st minute.
