Beaumont Hotel owner Alison Mills began the Beaumont Boot Bash in 2010 in an effort to bring the area’s widely scattered singles together for a night of socialising, dancing and "fun and games". "I’d heard about the infamous Boot Bash and when Alison approached me I thought ‘why not?’. "We’ve revised a few things, so everyone can stay safe, while keeping all of the character and fun of the classic event.
