Mohammad Ashraful failed to score desired level of Beep Test on Tuesday. National discards in shape of Mohammad Ashraful, Abdur Razzak, Nasir Hossain and Elias Sunny have been reported to have not crossed even level 10 in the test on Tueday. The bar in the Beep Test, the gauge of measuring fitness, has been increased by two levels comparing to the previous season as the cricketers to get selected for their respective division teams in the tournament must reach minimum 11 on the beep test this time round. BCB national selector Habibul Bashar however informed the cricketers does not have any limited number of opportunities for appearing in the test. So far we have received results only from Dhaka and 96 percent of the cricketers have passed the test,” former Bangladesh captain added.
