Belgium are joint top of the Fifa world rankings - along with France - after reaching the 2018 World Cup semi-finalsManchester United striker Romelu Lukaku scored twice as Belgium beat Switzerland in Brussels to move top of Group A2 in the Nations League. The victory takes Roberto Martinez's side above Switzerland, who had started their Nations League campaign with a 6-0 win over Iceland. Belgium reached the World Cup semi-finals this summer and their performances in Russia helped them go joint top of the Fifa world rankings, along with world champions France. But it did not matter as a lovely one-touch move involving Hazard, Lukaku and Mertens ended with Lukaku calmly finishing to give his country the win. Switzerland are in Nations League action again on Monday, 15 October with an away game in Iceland, before Belgium take on the Netherlands in a friendly on Tuesday.
