A 19-year-old woman from Tirupur in Tamil Nadu, who has been studying in Bengaluru, allegedly became the target of sexual assault by her Instagram friend, whom she met on a few occasions. According to the victim, she was gangraped by two men after being forced to consume an intoxicating substance at a private villa in Bengaluru. Reportedly, Dixon allegedly introduced her to the second accused, Nikhil (35). The survivor further claimed that the accused threatened to kill her if she disclosed the incident or approached the police. On the other hand, the woman said she delayed reporting the incident due to fear of alleged threats.
