With Harry Maguire now set to join West Ham, Erik ten Hag wants cover at centre-back and Pavard was one of four names the Dutchman had considered. That leaves Pavard and Nice ace Jean-Clair Todibo for Ten Hag to choose between, according to Fabrizio Romano. While Todibo is four years Pavard’s junior, he lacks experience and has more room to grow at centre-back.
